Review policy 2.0

Well it seems I have a policy. Ok, here it goes. Take a seat and enjoy the ride.

A few designers have trusted me enough to accept me on their blogging teams and I am very grateful for that. For me it is not about free goodies. Don’t get me wrong, that is a nice thing but in general their stuff is so great that I would gladly buy it anyway. And that is why, when they were looking for bloggers, I applied. The rest, as they say, is history.

I am not a professional flogger of things. There are designers out there who make the most breathtaking creations and I often visit their stores and drool over shapes, textures and their unlimited imagination. But I rarely buy their stuff because it is simply not my style.

I only blog and make pictures with stuff I really like. It is stuff I would gladly spent my Lindens on or have spent my Lindens on. If I was not prepared to buy it or have not bought it, I don’t use it in pictures aka don’t blog about it. That says nothing about the quality of said stuff, but it says everything about my taste and mood.

About events, deadlines, blogging schedules and being honest.

I can not and will not blog everything that is sent my way. With the amount of events and number of participants at said events it is simply to much. I make pictures that are pretty minimalistic and that would mean that I either have to cram as much stuff in a picture as I possibly can or blog every day.

My time online is limited and though I respect and realise that many designers make a living from SL and need their bloggers to work their asses for them I won’t be one of them. For me SL is a hobby and not my main job. Harsh? No. I call it honesty.

So with this all said, thank you for reading and have a nice day.
